15th - 17th April 2025
The City at Ten Kilometres an Hour is an audio-visual installation created in collaboration between Toshali Chattopadhyay, a researcher, artist Mel Galley and curator Clara McSweeney. Bridging the gap between artistic practice and academic inquiry, the project seeks to blur boundaries between ways of researching to create a sensory experience to question time, memory and sustainability through the lens of the Calcutta tramway system.
This work was presented at the Ireland India Conference which ran from the 15 -17 of April  2025 at the DCU All Hallow Campus (Room AHCPG11, Purcell House). A walkthrough of the installation by the makers was held on the 15th of April, 5.30pm
