Fire Station Artist Studios

A Home that Held us was an exhibition of new and previous work by nine resident artists at the Fire Station Artists’ Studios. Clara McSweeney was invited to curate the second iteration of this annual exhibition. Participating artists included: Emily Waszak, Kian Benson Bailes, Alice Rekab, Evelyn Broderick, Paul Hallahan, Samir Mahmood, Mieke Vanmechelen, Day Magee and Sorcha McNamara.
This exhibition of works took place across the open communal spaces of Fire Station Artists’ Studios, celebrating the building’s long-held function of providing home and shelter to its residents.
